

Harvest Winding Down
2012 has provided us with good growing conditions - no awful droughts, fierce heat or early heavy rains. The grapes have been lovely - ripe and clean. The last grapes of the season, Petite Sirah from the Saveria Vineyard in the south Santa Cruz Mountains, are about to be picked and soon to be fermented. Ever heard of Cabernet Pfeffer? There's not much of it in California, and we have a fermenter of Cab Pfeffer that you'll be able to try in a year or two. Lots to come - stay in touch!
Winemaker Dinner at Seascape Restaurant
